The Four Elements
Drum-based movement and meditation tracks inspired by the qualities of earth, water, fire, and air.
Each element represents a different way of moving and being with rhythm:
- grounding and weight
- flow and continuity
- intensity and energy
- space and lightness
These are useful for exploring how rhythm changes the body, attention, and internal state.
Use them for:
- movement practice
- meditation with rhythm
- shifting physical or emotional state
- returning to presence through sound
Four Elements Rhythm Practice is a set of four rhythmic environments designed for exploration rather than performance.
These recordings sit somewhere between music, practice space, and embodied attention training. They are intended to be used with movement, drumming, breath, or still listening, depending on what is needed in the moment.
Rather than aiming for a fixed outcome, the work invites a simple process of noticing — how rhythm affects attention, breath, tension, emotion, and the body’s internal state.
At the core is a repeated structure: Movement → Rhythm → Pause → Return. This cycle is less about technique and more about direct experience. It offers a way to observe habitual patterns as they arise, shift, and settle.
The recordings were created using frame drums, udu drums, shakers, and Korg Wave Drum, and each album download comes with a bonus PDF practical user’s guide.
